Notre Dame pretty much gave that game away - errors and stupid baserunning. Still, give aggy credit for very good pitching. Thay will have to piece together two very good pitching performance to make it past the Osoners to the finals.

With aggy baseball in the final four of the College World Series, this means it's the first time since WW2 that aggy men will finish in the top four in any of football, basketball, or baseball.

Sooners lead the ags 4-0 in the 4th. It’s lose and go home for the ags.

Sooners win and remain one of hottest teams in country. They turned it on in late April and early May and have stayed hot in June. Skip may get them a national championship by Monday night. OU could pull off a softball/baseball double, that would be impressive.

Agree, impressive to pull off a double. Sickening, but impressive.

Yep. Ags are out. Sooners remain white hot.

I think Ole Miss takes them out in the end. DeLucia and the other top Rebel arms can silence the Sooners’ bats.

I figure Ole Miss takes out Arkansas—if not today, then tomorrow. Then watch for the Douchewagon from Oxford to roll right over the mobile home from Norman. The Rebels’ arms are clearly superior to the Sooners’ arms.

Hope you're right on this one. Having to listen to the ou folks bragging about winning both softball and baseball championships would be a nightmare.

Swine strike first with a solo Homerun. 1-0.

and they’re calling the hogs with that cheer.

Yep, good pitching more often than not beats good hitting. Always has.

I am surprised Ole Miss can still use the name Rebels. I have liked them over the years and when I often traveled MS in the 90’s I liked Oxford a lot. A taste of the old South. Easy to pull for them over the devil creators of the “down horns” sign. Hope they advance.

Of course, they have to roast the pigs first. They’ve got two games to win one.

And Alderman drives an ice pick through the pig’s ear to the brain with a solo Homerun for the Rebels.

    1-1 game.

Meanwhile, pitcher Hagen Smith is racking up the strikeouts for the swine. 8 SO in 4 innings. He’s fast and he’s got some tricky stuff. Through 4 it’s still 1-1.

So do you get arrested if you drive through Oxford, Miss while not wearing a collared shirt?

They’re on their third I believe. They started a transfer from a&m Corpus Christi. Both sides’ pitchers are doing well today.

If Ark wins, count on DeLucia to pitch for the Rebels tomorrow, which is another way of saying count on Arkansas to lose tomorrow. While they’d like to save DeLucia for OU, they’ve got to beat the hogs first.

If they throw him tomorrow, could he come back on Monday, or would they pull a Gustafson and try to start him Sunday?
