Saw a blurb around the time of his commitment that he ran a 4.4 forty. He ran a 10.93 100 M and long jumped 21-8.5 as a junior.
Well, maybe the 4.4 was wind aided. Or the 10.9 was wind in his face. Or maybe the 4.4 was this year and the 10.9 was last year. So a senior runs a little faster than he did as a junior. Or the timer was off a tenth or two.
Prospects 40 times on the internet? Only 40 times I trust are from the NFL combine ...where few are as fast as 4.4 and 4.5 linebackers and tight ends are like 1-2 a year.
At least he catches the ball which is better than everyone we have except Worthy. He also appears to have some speed which would also be nice.
IT confirmed Banks will be in attendance along with OL Devon Campbell and OL Kam Dewberry for the Kansas game.

Now let's add Perkins, Stewart. Brown- QB (California) would be nice also. We would certainly be a top 3 class.
Checked him out yesterday after the commitment to aggies. Good player and a huge get for them. That being said, there are going to be kids that look at us that don't consider them and vice versa. We can't worry about the recruits that aren't considering us. Let's win big with the ones that have us on their list. Good lord, we need a strong class.
