Final 8 for 5-star WR Kevin Coleman Jr.
Looks like he added USC which will probably be BC's doing
Wants to get far away from his brother I guess
This cant be bad
Cole Martin, Hamilton, Cornerback
Xavier Nwankpa, Southeast Polk, Safety
This is why I argue against comments saying coaches will "ruin recruiting for the next 5-10 years" comments. At Texas you get immediate surge in recruiting any time there is a coaching change. It's up to that coach to ride that wave to championship level talent. Sark has been here for just a few weeks and has already gotten the buzz really loud.
2 in a row misses for Wiltfong. Sort of unusual
But he was not alone -- Lando got 8 CBs this week, all Texas, most with "high confidence "
Not a great look for Gideon either, who seemed to be on a roll ever since he got here. You might even say he had a recruit fall into his lap, but he still dropped it
In any event, we are going to sign a solid DB class, so no worries
Our dude is built like a rock
Bit of a surprise. Bigger surprise is that we're hearing that he wasn't necessarily a take for Sark. We're in good shape with 2 higher calibre DB's. Sark definitely holding his cards close to the vest. Don't think this was on Gideon at all.
Would be big .....
Didn't need him, didn't want him. Not Big 12 ready.
(Before I get taken to the woodshed, please note the very heavy sarcasm font!)
Bob Segar like a rock?
We have bigger fish to fry.
Besides, if we want him, we have the time. He may be a trap door candidate later.
I will only agree if we land those bigger fish, Hulliby was 4th best safety in Texas this cycle, we land 1, 2, or 3, then you are correct, if we have to settle for 5, 6, or 7 then he was a big loss.
Just my opinion, but I don't think Texas got out recruited for him, I think we tried to slow play him and he picked Oregon, again if we don't get the bigger fish this might come back to bite us.
West Coast strut
Those double-last-named secondary guys are always good.
Some people call him The Hyphen
His dad and Sark were teammates at El Camino College.
How bout that?
On the "Texas is holding two pots" remark, I feel like we must be holding a spot for Brennen Thompson. And then 2 spots left for those 3 WRs
Damn, now I'm drinking the Kool-aid
We are getting love from some of the big time OOS 5'star kids. If we can pull some of these guys in, Texas is going to be approaching Bama level class.
If Texas has a good season, look out, it's going to be skies the limit
