I’ve lived in both Aspen and Bozeman for at least 5 years each. As a Texan, I loudly and persistently recommend that no Texan ever set foot in Colorado again. The reasons are so numerous that, if I were to list them here, then I would altogether bore the readers of this fine forum Please just take my advice and spend your time and money in Montana instead.
While I lived in CO (moved to TN in July) I welcomed all Texans. They were needed to offset the CA liberal influence.
It’s not the native of Colorado that suffers from Rocky Mountain snobbery, but the Midwesterners, New Englanders and the Californians.
I know he could declare for draft. I sure hope he doesn't get any ideas. He needs the year to show he's healthy after the knee injury and we need him on the field.
Looks like we missed him when Sark was determined to run off the right vs TCU. I am still mad about it...especially after watching the next two teams run all over them.
Yeah if only he could have been on the field so Ewers could overthrow him or not see that he was open at all. Or perhaps throw the ball in the dirt at his feet.
Agree. Colorado has become the "California of the Rockies." My 55th Reunion at USAFA is in 2023 - I'm seriously considering whether or not to go.
HHD, Go, you'll enjoy yourself. Stay at the Broadmoor or Antlers (if it's still there). The people you want to avoid will be in the cheapies over on (??) 24.
I lived across I25 from the Academy for 12 year. If you haven't been back to the Springs recently, it is at least a trip to see how much the town has grown. I'd also consider staying at the Garden of the Gods resort. The Springs, is NOT Denver, and still pretty conservative as a whole. Too many bases and the Focus on the Family influence keeps it grounded for the most art.
Another yes. Perhaps our staff won't be too timid................... If someone's in the portal that looks like he's good enough to start here, make an offer. We'll only get a portion of those offered.
In another year or two, TCU might have better raw talent than us for the first time since Bob Lilly. They might even make the playoffs before we do; yeah, I know that's a real stretch...
