With the addition of Coach Choice, OrangeBloods saying it will automatically make Texas a contender for RB Justice Haynes from Roswell, GA. Justice Haynes, Blessed Trinity Catholic, Running Back
longer quote from Arch ... Five-star QB Arch Manning shares his thoughts on Quinn Ewers signing with Texas
Arch and his family are probably talking to the Ewers about how he's managing the NIL situation. Ewers is a ground-breaker.
IT mentioned today that Texas still wouldn't trade their positioning in this recruitment with any other school. Some familiar with the family said the addition of Ewers is a positive because he's the type of player that can get others to Texas and turn over the roster faster. Manning is like any other blue-chipper who wants to play with other elite players. They took notice of the OL haul too.
how bout a 5* #1 TE in the country deep dive behind the scenes ... spoiler: he visited Texas over the summer Which sport for 2023's No. 1 TE Duce Robinson Duce Robinson, Pinnacle, Tight End
Personally, i dont really believe him or he may think it doesn't matter to him right now but if Ewers has a good season he will probably go somewhere else. Of course its pure conjecture.
I read or heard Sark say that he had Tua, Jalen Hurts and Mac Jones in the same QB room at Bama ... all NFL starters now ... Arch can red shirt his first year to get acclimated and if Ewers is that good, he will only be here two years before going pro
If Ewers has a really good season, it likely means he is leaving early which is very good for Arch coming here.
At USC he had Carson Palmer and Matt Cassel. Brought in Leinart and Cassel stayed. Started Lienart over Cassel and Cassel stayed. Matt Cassel had a longer NFL career than Lienart.
Here's the problem. It makes sense to me on a very base level that a QB's NIL value will be much higher if he is a starter versus waiting in line. They need to create the buzz right out of the gate and stay ahead of the pack. Arch has a buzz right now, so he can sell that buzz. If he sits for two years then the buzz will die...
Well, that I don't know. I'm talking in generalities. If he thinks Sark is a QB Whisperer and is willing to wait then great. I'd be pretty surprised over that level of patience for the #1 recruit (or top ten) in all the fruited plain. But stranger things have happened such as an incredible recruiting class signed less than a mere month after a 5-7 season.
Ewers left high school early to get his millions in NIL before he ever stepped on a college campus. Now he is at a different college. Still not a for sure starter but got his money anyway. Mannings name recognition along with his potential at the college level will get him whatever he wants.
OL Ian Reed of Austin Vandegrift is a name to know going forward, per IT. He caught the eye of Coach Flood when his team was playing Austin Westlake at DKR in the playoffs.
IT saying Coach Choice will go see RB Cedric Baxter, Jr. of Orlando, FL quickly when he hits the road to start recruiting in mid-January. He has been in touch with Baxter since taking the job at Texas, and the staff offered Baxter back in June. Cedric Baxter Jr., Edgewater, Running Back
4* WR Johntay Cook, top right in photos, is close with 5* QB Arch, 5* RB Reuben Owens (lower left) and 5* LB Anthony Hill (lower right). Wouldn't that be something if Texas were #1 next year to answer the Ags class from this year ... Johntay Cook II, DeSoto, Wide Receiver Anthony Hill, Ryan, Linebacker
Interesting … no Georgia … this is important because some hack recently said Arch would sign with Georgia …
got to give @mchammer something to look forward to ... a TE ! Texas locking in on 3-Star 2023 TE Lafeyette Kaiuway after visiting
