If Patterson were he DC then yes but jury is still out on what impact he will have. No rational person would look at PK as ever having a dominant d and since last year was the worst D in UT history, he is obviously on a short leash. Could be the reason Patterson is here as well. I find it odd that Sark stating we will play more man this year. Why isnt the dc out talking about how he ill improve from almost dead last in the country?

Actually the ags are surging for Owens. they're selling him on being the featured back his freshman year. Texas isn't offering that, of course.. Texas has a better shot with RB Cedric Baxter than most people realize.
Why couldn't we offer that? Pretty sure Bijan is gone after this year and he could probably seriously compete with Roschon and all others for the top spot although I'm pretty sure we'll se more two back sets in the near future.

IT had an update today on QB Arch Manning, and they feel his recruitment is "nearing resolution" with a summer decision "easily most likely." Texas was supposed to visit his school yesterday and an official visit date will be discussed. The famous Manning Passing Academy event is being held the last weekend in June, so it's looking like a June 18th official visit is the best bet for now. Not the end of the world if he can't make the big recruiting weekend right before the summer dead period, but if he's making a June decision, then that weekend could go down with Arch already committed setting up endless recruiting possibilities even if he's not in Austin.

I have seen that and I hope he is severely underrated. We have not had speed to burn at LB in quite a while. Yes Overshawn is a spun down safety but not a true LB. Its been a real miss for quite a few years so hoping for better results and winning will help that.
