A storyline to keep in mind going forward.

IT believes RB Taylor Tatum of Longview has basically ascended to the #2 on Texas' RB board behind Jerrick Gibson.

    Taylor Tatum, Longview, Running Back

TFB saying Texas took a really good step with Tatum today.

He spent time with Sark and Bijan, plus the staff brought in Coach Pierce with Tatum being a baseball player too.

I'd drink Pepsi mixed with Miller before touching a bottle of KJ.

were there any more stories out of junior day? seems relatively quiet other than offers.

I could be wrong, but I don't think many commits come from Junior Day. I think it's more about establishing those relationships and gauging interest from both parties. I think as the spring goes and closer to summer, we'll see how well we did this past weekend.

It's more about continuing to build on relationships or building on new ones. Most if not all of the higher rated kids will be taking their allotted visits.

Butch Hadnot down the road in Kirbyville, could’ve, would’ve, should’ve been one of the all-time great longhorns. But …..

It was a miracle we got Hadnot away from RC & Rod. Remember Rod's father had been principal of the HS and Superintendent of Kirbyville ISD. Aggies still give me credit for taking his SAT.

He's been on campus several times already. If nothing off the wall happens we'll be in it till the end.

TFB says this is the second-most important WR recruit in the 2024 class, behind Hudson. Watch the clips. He won the state 100 meters with a 10.32. DO WANT.

    Ernest Campbell, WR, Refugio
