Jack Pardee played six man football in HS, and he stuck around the NFL & coaching a long time. Asked at the Houston Touchdown Club why he chose A&M. He replied he was a farm boy working in the fields every day in constant heat. A&M offered him free clothes & shoes and all he could eat.
