2026 Recruiting-Football

Okay, it's time to start the annual recruiting commitment freak out. Texas has now dropped to 36th in the 247 rankings.....😁
 
They list four 4 four stars for aggy. No players from TX, four Californias, Utah, New Jersey and a couple of Georgia kids. Let's see how long they stay once they spend some time in CS.
 
IT saying DL offer JaReylan McCoy of Tupelo, MS has scheduled his Texas official visit for June 13th.

He was previously scheduled to see A&M that weekend.

 
DT target Jaimeon Winfield of Richardson High has committed to USC.

OTF said a big-time Texas target would be committing to them a few days ago.

Hamilton mentioned USC is being very aggressive with NIL right now in hopes they can build a class before the season knowing how the last two years have gone for them.

Doesn’t matter how much NIL money is thrown around out west. USC still has Lincoln Riley running the show. All hat no cattle.

USC's 2025 group had 14 de-commitments.

Being aggressive early in the cycle is really their only choice after going 8-5 and 7-6, and Riley's buyout is approx. $90 million as of last season.

He could buy a few head with that buyout. Him and jimbo could go into ranching together.

But Linc has the only athletic dorm with burglar bars on the windows. A lot of the NIL money has to go to fast cars and big guns to get out of that neighborhood to find a burger without getting robbed or shot for all the bling the recruit buys.

Of course, they have the honor of playing in a 90+ year old stadium that USC can't fill unless we come to town.
