USC leads 35-17 near the end of 3rd Q

Who is a truly dominant team this year? Besides aggy I mean.

And Ga Tech just beat previously-unbeaten FSU 22-16 on a blocked FG returned for a TD in the closing seconds.

Houston has been truly dominant. Looking forward to the Memphis game.

Just pick any SEC team, remember no one can compete against a SEC team...

except maybe Memphis, Oklahoma, W. Kentucky, Toledo, or Texas Tech but all the other FBS teams wouldn't have a chance against SEC teams.

I hope Mississippi wins the SEC and Memphis goes undefeated. That will be a problem.

That's an interesting possibility OldHippie. What does the committee do to a SEC champion that has 2 loses? Do they take a 1 loss SEC team who didn't even win the conference? Based on last year, they shouldn't allow it based on what they did to TCU and Baylor since neither one of those two 'won' the Big XII.

The Big 12 is tied with the Big 10 (and AAC) for most undefeated teams remaining.

Undefeated teams left and their opponent this week:
    ACC (1):
Clemson 7-0 @ North Carolina State

    Big 12 (3):
    Baylor 7-0 BYE
TCU 7-0 vs. West Virginia (Thursday 10/29)
Oklahoma State 7-0 @ Texas Tech (Lubbock on Halloween!)

    Big 10 (3)
    Ohio State 8-0 BYE
    Michigan State 8-0 BYE
    Iowa 7-0 vs. Maryland

    SEC (1):
    LSU 7-0 BYE

    AAC (3):
    Temple 7-0 vs. Notre Dame
Houston 7-0 vs. Vanderbilt (SEC might lose again)
    Memphis 7-0 vs. Tulane

    MAC (1):
Toledo 7-0 vs. Northern Illinois (Tuesday 11/3)

In all fairness to the SEC, they eventually have to play each other so even if they beat each other they are still undefeated due to their awesomeness.

Also, does an AAC team deserve playoff consideration if Temple beats Notre Dame, Houston beats Vanderbilt, there are 3 or less undefeated power conference teams and one AAC team ends up being undefeated? Obviously, this scenario is highly unlikely. However, it would be interesting to see what would have to happen for a team outside of the power conferences to get in the playoffs.
