I saw a lot of headphones, and a lot of baby strollers (thought those weren't allowed, either). But the weather was gorgeous, nice run. I enjoyed it-it's my first 1/2.
Fantastic weather. Yeah, I saw headphones, strollers, and dogs even everywhere. Should have known they wouldn't really care. Did well through about 10 miles and which my legs decided to slow down. First 1/2 for me too.. biggest run before this was a 15k I did last Saturday, so I didn't exactly train appropriately... but I finished in good time
Yeah, I was generally OK until mile 10 or so. The North Loop section kicked my ***. Wish I could have posted a little better time, but at least I finished and I didn't die.
results are up: I guess as a Clydesdale, I don't get listed in the age groups. I'll have to download it to a spreadsheet I guess.
This race was so damned cold last year. Glad y'all had nice weather today. Congrats to those who ran.
