I never thought I would see my name on a 90210 post. I certainly never watched even one episode of the show. But I am a big Rob Thomas fan ("Veronica Mars"). He was supposed to executive produce the new 90210 and write it, so I planned to give it a chance. Now it seems he is taking a back seat. They are bringing in rewriters and he is going to concentrate on other projects. So I can safely forget 90210 every existed. However, before I wrote it off I saw the following story. Can anyone explain why Jennie Garth and Shannon Doherty can command $40,000+ per episode? Aren't they the definition of out of work aging actresses? Somebody got snookered in negotiations. Shannon should have jumped at anything that kept her out of pity porn. Garth maybe not as desperate, but come on.
