I've been there 3 times in the last month:

Food: pretty good. sizable portions at a very reasonable price
    Beer: lots on tap.
Service: atrocious. every table in the place was poorly handled. I've never seen so many heavy sighs and crossed arms as people attempt to get service. This was at slow periods and busy periods.

They need to fix the serious service problem or they'll be gone quickly.

Food was pretty bad last time I went.

I think this is the first place that might make it at that amazingly unsustainable location (perhaps rent is too high, but you can't find a better location in Austin). It is C&A. It doesn't try to be fancy. It doesn't claim to have the best service. It has decent food at a decent price with a ton of beers on tap (probably third to only Gingerman and Flying Saucer) and a full bar. I went a few weeks ago on a weekend and it was packed.

Now doing Sat and Sun brunch specials including mimosas and bloodies...and the food portions are large and taste good.
