After reflecting for a couple of days, it occurred to me last night that Shaka had no idea how to attack nor adjust to the very style of havoc defense that got him to the final 4 at VCU. He was completely ambushed and totally lost even though ACU showed this same style in the regular season.
Yes he was. And this was with a week to review film, strategize with staff, and practice to break their defense down. Shaka, as has been his want, was in shock and awe as his players continued to make the same mistakes and turnovers that led to the embarrassing defeat.
