Does anyone know where I could look to buy a Texas cheerleader or chaps (pom squad) costume (real or replica)? Everywhere I look I only find children's sizes.
It may be a solution to find a seamstress and have one made for you. Now I don't feel so alone - I want a cheerleader costume from when I was in school 1970-1974. Good luck with your search.
Write to Senator Kay in Washington DC. She showed up for the Cheer Leaders reunion a few years back in a well fitting uniform. She was even hoisted upon the shoulders of two male cheer leaders. Ask for the address of her tailor.

When you say "adult" do you mean it like Northwest Highway "Adult" or not-children-sized adult? Wait, don't answer...I'll just assume it is the former.
Just ignore all these rude posters, and get the costume you want. When you find it, you should reward yourself with a treat, like an icecream cone.
There ought to be uniforms floating around out there somewhere. I mean we have 300 cheerleaders for every game. It looks to me like everybody makes the team now.
