They tried this around 2000 and it failed miserably. It'll be interesting to see how it does this time.
Ya, they were using a 737 back then IIRC. They smartened up and are using a regional jet this go round... Maybe that will work out better.
I flew AC from Washington to Toronto to London last summer. My seat on the regional Bombardier jet from DCA to Toronto was at least 2x as comfortable as the POS 767 that took us to LHR.
