most of the speculation is being driven by a NYT writer named pete thamel. he's been wrong about everything thus far. we got our letter of notice from the big 12 outlining exit procedures. the next step is for us to officially withdraw. it's a foregone conclusion that it will happen, but it hasnt happened yet.
