I was underaged but still able to get in (despite raids there for this very thing by Herman Short's sheriff's dept). The wildest show I rmbr was the Ozark Mtn Daredevils and Brewer & Shipley. They combined at end. I was hallucinating at the time but will never forget the moves of this one long-haired chick dancing at the stage - mesmerizing. I swear to you her arms were made of rubber-bands. I even recall the crazy drive home in my friend's mom's green station wagon - I still have no idea how he stayed within the white lines. Later in life I got to know one of the Brewer & Shipley guys - he lives on a farm in SW Missouri with the family.
