I'm going to be getting into the Times Square area about an hour before kickoff, anyone know of a good bar around that area that might have some Horns fans in it?
The NYC Texas Exes added a new place to their gamewatching events this year that is not far from Times Square. It's called Village Pourhouse, and it's near 46th St. and 9th Ave. Turns out, they are having a free open bar (Bud Light, wine, house cocktails) for one hour before the Rice game. More info here
Not sure what the turnout will be for that, but I doubt they will offer free alcohol to a bunch of Texans again after they see that bill.
The Village Pourhouse is awesome and so close to Times Square. The music playing has always been Texas musicians the two times I've been there.
