Well as most people here know I am not a fan of Trump (gotten alot of flack lol). I agree with you on this but I would like to add:

The Dems don't want to win because they can't. They can't find a candidate within their party because they don't have a clear ideology. You have the moderates and socialists fighting each other. The old Dems are getting the big middle finger from AOC, Bernie, Pocahontas supporters. There have been some bad tickets in presidential history but I think Joe and the Hoe is the worst in my opinion.

    TV ratings are down
But I guess with the new format, that was to be expected

Will, FWIW, I spent my entire adult life — once I knew of Donald Trump, despising him. Thought he was as big of an a**hat and narcissist as I had even known. Then something changed for me around the summer of 2016. With all of his obvious flaws, he seemed to also have unique qualities, one of which being unusual intuition.

Yes, I was disgusted by the comment about McCain — and Trump ultimately paid a heavy price for that indiscretion (the thumb down vote) - the guy obviously has extraordinary instincts. My respect has only grown, now to a point that I tend to discount virtually every negative story about him because so many have been disproven.

On to the Democrats, while their bullpen is not strong, they do have talent. The problem is that the left/radical wing of the party has taken over. It’s terrible. And the best thing that could happen to the party — for its survival — and the country would be a devastating loss in November.

We need a two party system but we cannot survive as a nation if many of the ideas on display from “this” Democrat party ever become mainstream.

    Really great post
Yes this. "The problem is that the left/radical wing of the party has taken over." It is also the media and hollywood and those entities influence so many.
I honestly am surprised Trump even has any positive numbers.

Speaking of sobriety, I found a new house in the UK tonight, so I had some of both of these.

We already have a 3rd party. The far left wing of the democrat party.

Should Joe lose, how long will Nancy be allowed to keep her power in the party? Blood bath on the horizon.

I don't necessarily think that if someone votes 3rd party it's to "send a message". I know ALOT of Libertarians (myself included probably) and they vote L not for hatred but agreeing to a different platform.

I almost can't believe they let her speak but then again its the Dems.....:rolleyes1:

I didn’t realize how good a president could be till Trump. The guy is all about results and gets so much done. He seeks out things that need fixing from crushing ISIS, slapping No Korea, NATO, Iran, China, to Exec order Stimulus etc..None of the personality bothers me-Saban is an *** too sometimes. They both win. And if he wins a second term hold on to your hats.
Besides If your seriously voting Biden, your brain is actually more cooked than Biden’s.

It's not a big shock that Biden would give a good convention speech. Like Trump, he can give a strong speech when he's on teleprompter. His weakness is when he's unscripted, which is different for Trump. He's stronger unscripted than Biden is. Of course, Trump's big weakness shows when he's got the Twitter app running while he's sitting on the toilet.

I didn't realize that Kasich was instrumental in stopping and capping production of the B2 during
Clinton years. Repubs wanted 40. Kasich worked to stop it at 20.
    China and Russia say thanks

I didn't know that either. But honestly, do we really need 40? The cost of making 1 was $2.1 billion!! We have the greatest arsenal in the world when it comes to aircraft.

The B-2 had significant problems, and the Soviet Union had collapsed. It was not at all unreasonable to slow down orders of it until its problems could be worked out. Kasich was right.

We might need 40 now. Did we need 40 in the mid-'90s when the plane had design defects? No.

Of course it had NOTHING to do with the fact that the B1 is partially built in Columbus Ohio

I agree with you when the plane had defects (all of them do) that we didn't need 40 but I'm still not convinced that we need 40 bombers even now. The conflicts we fight now and what I see in the future we need close air support (i.e. F22, F35)....

6721 is right also, he was protecting the jobs in Ohio with the B1
