Just wondering if we are going after some guys who are already committed, and do we have a chance at them. Given Charlie's rep I think defense is going to be great. I hope we can pick up some offensive commits in the eleventh hour. One guy I'd love to flip is the Noil kid out of Louisiana who committed to Aggy, or the RB Fornette who committed to LSU. Anyone know if there are some commits in play?
Noil was an early enrollee and is already signed at A&M. I don't think there is any chance Fournette flips to Texas (or anywhere else for that matter). On the defensive side of the ball, I know Texas has continued to target A&M committs Myles Garrett and Nick Harvey, but Miles is 100% committed to A&M and it sounds like Harvey was solidified this weekend.
How any highly ranked defensive guy be interested in aggy is beyond me. Sumllin is an offensive guy like Briles, Leach, Kingsbury, etc. and will never allow for the proper defensive recruiting. Yes they get one or two guys each year but the focus is always going to be recruiting offensive guys. This is why these guys will generally finish mid to back of the pack.
