FIrst of all, I'm nothing but confident that Coach G will right the ship and the Longhorns will continue to make positive improvements for the remainder of this season and beyond. I'm already looking forward to the Big XII tournament in Kansas City. That said, looking at the rest of the schedule, and home and away tendencies, I believe Texas AT WORST will end up at 8-8 in conference play, an improvement over 6-10. I won't go through which games I believe will be wins and losses, but I think the Longhorns can pick up five more wins in conference, at least. I hope more. As you look at the remaining schedule, your thoughts?
It's a little hard to read this team. If they continue their road woes, then they could well be 6-9 - but if they play up to their potential, then 8-8 is possible.
i, myself, am taking a "one game at a time" mentality. i did that as a player, and i find it works better for me as a fan as well.
