Saban says that because the rules have been so messed around to the offense's advantage that it is very difficult to PLAY defense these days.

 

I hope these old school uni's can channel some old school nastiness. May we see vestiges of Nobis, Talbert, Lammons and McMichael. I don't expect it, but I can ho[e.

 

2004 and 2005 I'd say we did. 2014 and 2017 too, which unfortunately coincided with our worst offenses.

Why can't big 12 refs spot a ball. He was a full 2 yds short.

 

The general consensus is that B12 refs are terrible.
