Will it be the showband of the southwest and the million dollar band performing similar to tournament of roses rose bowl or a full flown mini-concert by some musical act (s)?
It is going to be the band that does those Free Credit Report commercials. The sets will be of various themes from their commercials.
Probably a performance, but that's just a guess. I do see that both teams are staying in Orange County? Any word on where? I am guessing someplace by the convention center near Disneyland, but just curious.
In 2006, I went to the pisser right as the 1st half was ending... and I didn't get back until after the 3Q started. That was my halftime entertainment.
Not offense to Josh Groban, but we have Texas and Alabama playing. Austin and Muscle Shoals...forget Nashville and LA, Austin and freaking Muscle Shoals. Two states with great traditions in blues/rock/country/r&b/gospel, it'd be a shame if they didn't feature some good old fashioned Southern music. Hell, get Willie and Williams Jr. Get ZZ and Skynyrd (I know they're from Florida, but still). Get Beyonce and Aretha or the Temptations. Get Lovett and Buffet. Get Explosions in the Sky and Drive-by Truckers.
I boycott all pregame and halftime shows..cause 99% of the time the acts suck or the acoustics are horrible.
Why can't they just let the bands play? This is college football, not the Super Bowl. It's what the bands are there for.
