specify a bit. Casual as in burgers or texmex? Thai food? This is sorta vague. I have a couple suggestions but nothing formal.

    Chris Madrid's for burgers.

Rolando's Super Tacos for TexMex burritos, etc.

I forget the name of the Thai place but it's off DeZavala. It's near Rome's Pizza. I can find out specifics if interested. I have eaten lots of Thai and this place is up high on the list.

I didn't think Chris Madrid's was bad, but I really don't understand the hype, unless there just aren't a lot of good burger joints in San Antonio like there are in Austin.

I think it's a whole ambiance thing going there. And it's a tasty burger. I also like Chester's in San Antonio. Chester's has some of the best Onion Rings I've ever tasted.
