Big 12 is already 3-0 in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge as TCU just knocked off Florida 55-50.
Coleman opens with a 3
We CANNOT lose this game. Road or not, this is our last “easy” matchup all year. Georgia is 9-9 and 1-5 in SEC play. I think we end up winning, despite being down right now... or at least I hope we do.
We go up early, then some guy starts hitting 3s for them, and of course we just let him keep bombing away. I guess our plan is that he will eventually miss one
Tie game at half - we did a nice job to get it back to even, esp Ramey's layup at the end
We started hot from outside early and were hitting the O glass hard
Now just the usual stuff
Every time a team starts hitting 3’s against us we seem to go to zone.... which is gives up more open 3’s. I just don’t understand the logic.
Coleman has 4 fouls with 14:16 left
Hayes, please stop needlessly swatting blocks out of bounds.
The team reflects its head coach. They are what they are, underachieving and mediocre at best.
Reminds me of our football team from 2011 to 2017, we can play good defense or good offense, but rarely both at the same time.
Seriously right after I post that, we swap from good offense, bad defense to the reverse. We go zone, do some traps, get 3 turnovers, but also miss 4 or 5 shots right at the rim including a dunk.
My dentist is more fun than this
We have allowed Tyree Crump of Georgia a career-high six 3-pointers.
It seems like every shot, we are 4-5 feet off him
I know Smart will get another year because of the money/contract, but I just don’t see how CdC can allow this to continue
Why is Hayes ALWAYS in foul trouble? Every game is seems like he has 4
Back to good offense but bad defense again. Georgia averages 74 ppg, they are pace for 95 right now.
aggy somehow beat KSU
They were chanting "SEC, SEC, SEC!!!" at the end
Not hyperbole, they really were
Roach dribbles for 30 seconds and turns it over when we’re down 10
Roach burns nearly 20 seconds of clock dribbling and then turns it over. Geez. Hardly even looked to pass, but I only somewhat blame him for that since nobody else cared to move much. Watching Roach as if they were part of the crowd rather than participants in the game was more important, I guess.
Shaka has managed to do something the Georgia coach could not do
Make Georgia look like a good team
ps - they already over 90
We keep pressing for 15 seconds, and then intentionally fouling. That makes no sense. If you run that much time off, you might as well keep playing defense.
Gerogia trying hard to choke this away; they really are not a very good team; but they are still up 7.
25-35 in the Big 12
It’s like Smart has no idea what he’s doing. No that can’t be it.
Texas 88 Georgia 98

Shaka has got to go.
And, by extension, Steve Patterson ...
I am by no means a basketball savant, and yet after 4 years of this garbage I can recognize inept coaching. Shaka has no idea what he is doing. Or his idea of winning basketball is not correct. He has to go.
Just watch, we'll give Kansas all they can handle and maybe even beat them. It's like when Charlie beat OU but couldn't beat ISU and Kansas. It's coaching, plain and simple.
"Havoc" has turned out to be nothing but smoke and mirrors.
