I also ran into a scammer on Craigslist during my search for tickets. Advertised 4 in Sec. 28 for $500. I was suspicious, but asked if they were available. This is what i got back:
"The tickets are still available. I can send the tickets this morning and you can receive them on Saturday morning at any address in the US.
My name is Amanda Horner and I am now in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Me and my husband came here with our best friends who are honeymooning and we liked it so much here that we decide to prolong this vacation and stay here for another 2 weeks. I have the tickets with me and I would hate to see the tickets go to waste so we are looking for a buyer for these 4 tickets.
With the game day approaching fast, I would like to move forward with this sale as soon as we reach terms.
Obviously we need a safe delivery and payment option to make sure the exchange goes well.
Here in the Uk we have found a great way for us to complete the deal safely and fast, and in this way you will receive the tickets in less than 24 hours after I send them, if you can take care of your part of the deal the same day as well.
The solution is provided by the shipping company Royal Mail. They are very big here in the UK, very similar to Fedex or UPS, and they will handle and delivery of the tickets as well as the payment part.
What this procedure does is make sure you receive the tickets before I receive the money and at the same time your money will be held by Royal Mail to ensure I get paid once you use the tickets to see the game.
With this procedure I will only receive the payment for the tickets after the game, after you receive and use the tickets.
The link below is taken from the Royal Mail site and it explains the procedure I was talking about. Please check the link and the procedure and let me know if you agree to the terms.

Like I said, I will pay for the overnight delivery so you will receive them in time.
Let me know if we can proceed.
Amanda"
These must be really good friends if they are invited to go along on a Honeymoon!!!
I advised Craigslist of the situation, and I no longer find this ad listed. It proves the old adage--"if it sounds to good to be true--it is."
