Big 12 Championship

It’s my fault that we lost to Okie Lite and the Hillbillies, guys, and I’m ready to acknowledge my guilt.

I bought Big12 Championship tickets. I did. I did.

As Statalyzer and Omniscient.one point out, my post about point differential neglected to mention the overtime outcomes that would be even more than the 3, 6, and 7 points I cited. If WV had scored a field goal or TD (plus a 1- or 2-point conversion) on their possession, then scored a defensive TD on the subsequent UT possession, they had a potential of as much as a 14-point overtime win.

I’m ashamed for my negligence . . .

The best case scenario for us is to win out and have WVU win out, then we don't have to worry about point differentials.

 

My thought for the regular season back before the start was an 8-4 finish which would be meh-ok, but a 9-3 season would show good improvement. Both are still probable. Hopefully, the Horns take down Tech and Iowa St., then pound Kansas into oblivion. Get to that first. The rest will take care of itself.
