Poor shooting (30.6% ) from the field doomed the Wildcats, especially since almost half their shots came from BTA and they only managed to hit 26.9% from there. OU was just enough better (field:36.5%; 3pters: 37.5%) to pull out the win. FTs made the big difference as OU was 16-20 compared to KSU's 4-8. Neither team was impressive offensively in this game as the inability to hit shots was the reason for the low shooting percentages rather than strong defense. Pierre-Louis was nine of 15 (60.0%) while the rest of the OU team was 14-48 (31.3%).

outstanding first quarter followed by a really poor second quarter (22 pt vs 8 pts). KU within five at the half, 30-25. Rebounding closer than it should be 18-14 Horns.
