Got a letter from the foundation indicating that Tournament Tickets are now on sale at texasboxoffice.com . The conference tournament is Thurs. Mar. 13 - Sun. Mar. 16 in Kansas City, MO, at the new downtown Sprint Center, which has replaced Kemper Arena.
This year K.C., 2009 Oklahoma City, 2010 & 2011 back to K.C. Ignoring the Texas cities really pisses me off. I'll go this year to check out the new arena, but I'm done going to K.C. after this one.
Beginning in 2009, the postseason event will be held from Wednesday to Saturday. And having made several tournament visits to KC, MO, and experiencing the aging of Kemper Arena, i am looking forward to checking out the new arena. And, although it is more travel than my trips to American Airlines Arena in dallas, I have enjoyed my time in Kansas City, as they do have casino gambling in that town.
