Really disapointing not to see Ebay on the defensive team. I thought Kat was borderline about making it. She didn't put up the numbers offensively in the Big 12 that she did in OOC.

Andrea Riley deserved POY hands down. She led her team to a finish higher than predicted and Courtney Paris' team underachieved period. This is definitely the wrong call.

I'm ok with the first team, second team and honorable mention picks. Deb Patterson for COY, I can't argue with that. KSU went from last to first without an influx of talent. I'm not so sure about the all defensive team. Voting C Paris as POY and defensive player of the year, I strongly disagree with. I think I could get over her being given one the awards, but both? I also don't agree with Danielle Robinson as FOY. I can think of a couple I'd pick over her with Brittany Spears as my top choice.

I kind of disagree with C. Paris getting POY, but maybe we've just become accustomed to her double-doubles and take her for granted. On the other hand, she hardly ever shoots more than a three-footer and is only 55% from the field with a ton of her gaudy rebounds coming from her own misses...which is 45% of the time. She's a 58% FT shooter and her team underachieved badly this year under her "leadership".

I would have probably voted for the #1 scorer in the Big 12 in Andrea Riley who guided her team past all expectations. Oh well, let the big girl have her awards. Am I the only one who thinks she's gonna have to lean up a bit to make an impact in the WNBA?

And no E-Bay on the All-defensive team? [IMG]
