Hopefully it helps prevent him from turning his head towards the portal.

All joking aside I hope the kid is ok, speedy recovery.

Might as well hold him out of the Kansas game.
Let RoJo and KRob carry the load.

It would be really nice to see Dixon and Brooks lighting up the scoreboard Saturday

I've heard RoJo has turf toe.
Probably will play, but I too would like to see KRob and Brooks get the carries against Kansas.
Let RoJo and Bijan heal up for our quest for bowl eligibility.

How would anyone know at this point when he's listed as day to day? If this is true, which I certainly hope it's more BS, then it's something other than the injury.

You're getting ahead of yourself here, as well.
    It was a neck injury.
    Initial reports said neck strain.
It's possible something worse showed up with further tests such as herniated disk, etc.
    Hope the report isn't true.
But if it is, it could certainly be because of the injury.

Would love to see Brooks get significant touches v Kansas. Between KR and he we should be good to go. Only question is: Can he/they help in pass protection by picking up blitzes and dinging d-linemen that have been whiffed by our o-line?

If true...and not related to the injury...Most likely to preserve and protect and indicates Sarks desire to improve line and generally provide him better "protection" and opportunity.
He deserves better than what we have given him last few weeks and he has taken a beating physically and mentally..
    My own speculation

That seems like a recipe for further problems.
