I'm not particularly fond of Musberger, but I also think you could do a lot worse. Dave Lapham, Dave South, Keith Jackson the last 10 years of his career, and that USC alum with a voice too nasal for silent film, Petros Papadakis, immediately come to mind. Though a tremendous dork who wears out certain phrases like aggy wears out certain farm animals, Musberger has seen a lot in his career and occasionally says something cogent.
