Nice defense as always. Starting to worry about Carr. More turnovers than points again. Thankfully, Jones was great off the bench again.
I'm worried about a lot more than Carr. The game was basically a tie in the 2nd half, with Texas behind often. I watched some of the ISU/Xavier game and right now ISU looks like a much better team that Texas.
Hoping the team jells by the time B12 starts. It’s not easy to build a team from so many new players—everyone is learning new system and learning to play with new mates. Never thought it would be a smooth transition to get everyone in the right place at the right time while playing their top game. I have confidence they’ll be very good by the end of January. Sure hope so.
They are very good right now. We played the Zags better than UCLA did, though 10 minutes in it was clear we never really had a shot to win. By the end of January with the addition of Disu this team could be exceptional.
Maybe I shouldn't be so critical considering what just happened to Canzez. I looked at Dayton's schedule and my god, that's worse than losing to ACU.
