Guess Petey was right. Sanchez shouldn't have left last year.
It's not like Sanchez has been the reason the Jets are winning, he's the NFL version of McElroy. Who knows, maybe he would've been a lot better next year, maybe not, but this season doesn't prove Sanchez is a good quarterback.
Not that I hugely care, but MS doesn't have to be GOOD. He just has to be GOOD ENOUGH.
I don't think his banker or his trophy case builder gives a ****.
just dropped a 80yrd TD pass. Although to take away some credit edwards was wiiiiiide open. Uncle Rico could have thrown that.
Actually I think he would've had more trophies from another year of college. Or are you saying he's overrated and wouldn't have won any awards? I could agree with that one.
Sanchez has played pretty well over the past several weeks. No, he's not carrying the Jets, but I don't think anyone ever expected him to put up MVP numbers in his rookie season. He was CLEARLY ready for the NFL. Anyone who argues otherwise either has a bone to pick or is arguing just for the sake of argument.
sanchez is having a pretty dmn good game so far.
Two TD passes in the first half today to go along with the game winner last week. Very impressive.
the jet defense is outstanding.
just absolutely outstanding.
and now the jet defense is getting exposed a bit.
sanchez still having a good game.
He's just a rookie and is doing fine as he progresses.
In Ryan's system the qb mostly has to avoid making a lot of mistakes. He has been doing well in that regard as the year has gone by.
I think he is going to be a superb pro qb; I also think that if he stayed in college USC would not have lost a game this year and would have had a good chance to be playing somebody for the MNC.
