I work for a company that does a great job of hiring/promoting women and minorities and has a lot social and religious diversity. I'm looking for fun ways to celbrate. We honor our Irish (seems like all the white folks I know are a little Irish) with a great St. Patrick's Day events and celebrations, but what about black, asian, Hispanic and others who work and thrive here. I want it to be fun and a little more subtle than Black History Month, Native American Recognition Month... Any ideas on things that work?

I don’t have any ideas but wondering if it would be good to just ask people how they would like to celebrate. Maybe an informal survey or something?

That's really awesome that you're doing that. Like Dion said, I think maybe an informal survey, and even reaching out to them for help with planning would go a long way. I know Diwali is coming up pretty soon.
