Its been a couple of years since I've been to Winstar (played poker) and now with Choctaw opening up and I heard Winstar renovated I'm looking to go back.

Why is better for poker these days? My wife likes to play roulette and slots if that helps. I know Winstar didnt have all of the games we were used to in Vegas when we went.

Winstar is massive. The remodel/expansion was done very well. There are more slot machines there than any casino in vegas. There is a brand new hotel there and the food is pretty good too. Their poker room is much larger. They did it right.

No alcohol at Choctaw. It is also too small and smoky in my opinion. Plus it is farther and harder to get to from most of the DFW area than Winstar

No casino in OK has roulette or craps to my knowledge. Not sure why.

--at least with respect to craps, probably because it requires the ability to count.

no roulette in ok. state law.

slots and various coin operated games out the *** at both places. blackjack, various forms of poker.

choctaw now has nicer accomodations that winstar with the new hotel. winstar is still bigger and they also have a new hotel, but the one at choctaw is supposed to be legitimately nice. check out some of the pics online.

also, some of the casinos apparently have made a new game out of cards..... like roulette. this is really weird.

although, i can't imagine what the "pool scene" would look like in durant during the summer. might be funny.

Choctaw cleared 98 million dollars the first week the new casino was open. Makes you wonder about the payout.

it is mind boggling, but man, the consequences of those casions on low income rural families has been devastating IMHO. the small town i grew up in, Shawnee, basically has two places to work. firelake 1 and firelake 2. it is amazing how many people, that i know don't have the money to be gambling all the time, seem to be flocking to them. not a good thing.
