He added himself the best High School coach in Texas until the State found out he was taking all if the Stare money for himself instead of using it for education (he owned the school).

If he wins out and wins the NC he can say it. Until then he might want to tone it down.

It won't be long until a national media outlet rehashes the corruption his Prime Academies were here in DFW. And the turmoil and injustice the kids and parents he recruited to those schools with all the promises that were never fufilled

Ok, big deal. What college coach would not praise Satan for his success, influence,
    etc.?

How much praise did he have for HIMSELF?

Saban is a great coach and a great human being. His redemption of other coaches, including Sark is a wonderful gift to these men and their families.

Prime is a pu/k and likely not a very good person at least in the past. From what I see I would not want my sons near him even if he is successful.

I think most coaches (and people) have a fundamental understanding of appropriate behavior. His role as a leader of young men requires something other than showing off.

Agree with your compliments of Saban. Sark is a good and clear example of "other coaches" that got that redemption....

It’s always about him. Overkill it seems. The media darling at this point. Time will tell if his program if golden or gilded. I’m going to lean towards the latter.

He's got 5 solid defenses in his future and they will also play USC. The PAC 12 is salty in their swan song. I will say I'm impressed by his QB. The kid is smart with the ball and accurate.

I like that he talks big but he backs it up. I think he is good for college football. He is the entertainment we lost when Mike The Pirate Leach died.

I'm impressed by how well CU has played these first 3 games, but with a grain of salt.

The CSU game is probably a better litmus test for where CU "actually" sits heading into tougher conference games. CSU got taken to the woodshed against Wazzu, and didn't have an offensive TD until the middle of the 4th quarter. CU needed one of the most epic comebacks of the current college football season in order to force OT at home against them.

I think Oregon and USC take out their frustrations on CU and we start to see glimpses of how disorganized their D is. They'll be 3-2 heading into Tempe against a 1-4 or 2-3 ASU team, and I think that'll end up being the game that makes or breaks the rest of their season. A loss to the Sun Devils could send them reeling and finish 5-7 or worse. A win could help them get over the hump and even maybe up to 8 wins.

Maybe, but CSU punching CU in the mouth when CU thinks they are all that is a time-honored tradition in Colorado that goes back to at least the Bradlee Van Pelt days.

It's wildly different entertainment. Leach was funny as hell. Prime is just a massive self-promoter.

Wasn’t planning on it, but checked out the interview on YouTube to see what the fuss was all about. When he said he was the best coach, I took it like a QB never saying he thinks they’re gonna lose or similarly, not admitting they’re not as good as another QB. Overblown in my estimation. I actually liked what he said about being truthful to kids and they don’t get that anymore. He’s definitely a big self promoter, for sure, and I get the annoyance, but people do talk a lot of smack about him. I guess if you already hated him, he threw out some red meat. Like everyone else, I think they’re in for some beat downs, so that’s gonna make a lot of people happy. For me, I got enough hate for Aggy and OU….no room for more.

His son was offered by almost every major P5 program coming out of Cedar Hill. He was a legit qb and we are seeing that in his performance. He and Travis Hunter who was the #1 recruit 2 years ago both went to the hbcu and excelled as expected. They are also doing well at CU. To act like this is a surprise would be unjust. Coach is a boisterous coach and when he gets his team pounded, and they will be soon, lets see how he responds. I have zero problem with a coach supporting his team. Everyone wants to win and someone will fall on their sword and offer him crazy money and he will take it, I mean why not.

Choice is a better grade of meat than Select.

I shouldn't know that since I didn't attend aggy or Tceh, but I looked it up out of my own sense of curiosity over the meat case prices at HEB one day.

I am not a prime hater or a hater in general. In my younger days I did not care for Spurrier, Switzer or Urban Meyer but they all won big games and I respect them for that.
My thought on Prime is that he doesn't need to promote, it is redundant. Folks are crawling over themselves for a reason other than a championship, even before he played his first game. Beating TCU was something but Nebraska and CSU, not so much. They were supposed to win or should I say Nebraska can't get out of their own way and TCU lost a lot from last year's team. If Colorado competes for the Pac 12 then he has done a remarkable job at a formally DOA program. Will be interesting to see what happens with Oregon and USC, Utah and Oregon State.

Deion certainly has a grasp of the moment.
After Norvell made the remark about sunglasses Deion gave his team shades and of course spoke about it in interviews.
The sunglass company sold 1.2 million worth the next day. Deion likely gets a cut BUT that is opportunistic marketing

For crying out loud he’s won 3x what they won all year. They (the fans) have every right to be excited. Now if/when they get pounded, well we’ll see how things go then.
