$32 million is peanuts. Social Security, Medicare, and Military are what matters for budgeting. The rest is window dressing.

And let us not forget Mueller added Manafort's $22 million in properties to the DOJ assett recovery fund. Starr investigation of Clinton had no such assett recovery and cost $70 million in 1999.

Regarding potential perjury by Bruce Ohr --

    "Why Bruce Ohr?
So why Bruce Ohr? Because he was a top official inside the Department of Justice and close to the DOJ’s National Security Division [NSD].

The point was to launder Fusion GPS’s Trump-Russia allegations through Ohr to Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and lead agent on the Trump case, Peter Strzok, so it could be claimed the information was coming from a legitimate intelligence source instead of from paid political propagandists working for Hillary Clinton.

This means it’s highly likely that when Bruce Ohr’s personal notes from his meetings with Fusion GPS are compared with the official FD-302 interview forms that Agent Pientka filled out following his interviews with Ohr, they are not going to match when it comes to what the stated source was for the Trump-Russia information.

For Pientka to write down on the 302 forms that this information on Trump-Russia he was being given by Ohr was still coming from the Fusion GPS boys after the FBI had supposedly severed all ties with them would have defeated the entire reason for going to the trouble of establishing a backchannel in the first place...."

Why FBI Special Agent Joseph Pientka Is the DOJ's Invisible Man

    Behold the sacrificial lamb
I can imagine Weissman and his team of liberals thugs sitting around a table and saying,
"OK, we have to sacrifice one of our own. But the problem is, we have given immunity to every Democrat connected with this matter. So what do we do?"
Kind of makes you wonder what Craig must have done years ago to piss off Weismann? Although I dont think the formal indictment of Craig came until after Weissmann had "stepped down."

The liberal perspective of where this story is headed next - one of their chief complaints is that they are not getting leaks from Barr/Horowitz/Durham in the manner they were accustomed to under Comer/Mueller/et al.

"Trump fuels prediction that Russia investigators will face prison"
Trump fuels prediction that Russia investigators will face prison

" ....... All of the hype can have political implications.

Texas GOP Rep. John Ratcliffe, a close Trump ally, has even signaled that the impeachment battle could be settled by the probes’ findings. Once DOJ shows Obama’s national security leaders overreached, he argued, “you can pretty much put a pin in any impeachment balloon.”

Meanwhile, Tom Fitton, head of the conservative Judicial Watch, predicted Trump supporters would be outraged if the investigations into the investigators fall short of indictments against the likes of former officials, such as Comey.

“I think people are going to have a hard time coming to terms with a scandal that’s in many ways worse than Watergate: the hijacking of several executive branch agencies, intelligence, law enforcement, State [Department], Defense [Department], to spy on and target a candidate and then abusing powers once he’s in office to try to overthrow the president.

“The notion that there’d be no prosecutions of anyone involved in that, that would be further confirmation of the strength of the deep state,” Fitton added...."

The Director of the FBI does not want the rest of the Strzok/Page docs released until after the election. Why would he take that position?

There is no deep state y'all. Crazy conspiracist ********, wouldn't know reality if it bit you in the rear. [ignores a decade of the intelligence community working inside news media.]

Lawyers for McCabe, the former FBI Deputy Director and current employee of CNN, have reportedly been seen at DOJ Main begged for their client to not be indicted

And the NYT says a grand jury has been seated in DC and is already reviewing evidence on him

If they do get him, it sounds like it will only being for lying to the FBI itself. I guess that's one crime too far for them. Interesting to see where they draw the line

I'll bet McCabe skates. After all, he was not involved with Trump. To the contrary, and those people seem to be untouchable.

So Comey gave his pal Richman "special" classified clearance up to TS/SCI from June 2015 (when Trump announced his candidacy) to July 2017 (after Trump fired Comey).
Richman leaked to the NYT (as, no doubt, they planned it)
At the time, Richman was employed as a college professor and not the FBI

Here is an article about Trump's attempts to declassify the Spygate documents - it's not been as easy as it seem it should be
He did declassify, but then they drug their feet
The AG tried to force it too, but he was stymied by the ODNI, which is the gatekeeper of the docs
So Trump then decapitated ODNI leadership, and is seeking to add someone who will cooperate with Barr. But this is considered as Cabinet Level appointment which means it must be Senate confirmed. And the Deep State obviously has many friends in the Senate.
The Deep State does not give up easily.

Like I've said elsewhere, nothing will happen to anyone who is anti-Trump.

All that will happen is (R)s will go on Fox News and plead their case as to what "should" happen and who "Should be investigated" blah blah blah.

They are weak and ineffectual. Nothing will happen to any anti-Trump people.

James Comey talking about his fav topic, James Comey --
    "Truth matters, integrity matters.
Those ethical values are what are going to last."

The IG talking about James Comey --
"Comey failed to live up to this responsibility" and
"set a dangerous example for the over 35 ,000 current FBI employees."

I've said it before many times here and I'll say it again. All politicians have each others backs and not ours. All they want to do is divide us so they can control us resulting in the mostly retarded arguments here on the west mall. The fight between R's and D's may be real, but when the $hit hits the fan they go into the bunker together.

    But Vol
the IG and DOJ should not be political.
The fact that they can conclude what they did and still not prosecute is stunning.

Oh, I 100% agree. I just also 100% believe they are either in it together or 100% controlled by or manipulated by politicians for job security or promotions.
