Strzok also interviewed Hume Abedin and Cheryl Mills

I heard on the radio this morning that Strzok also was responsible for changing the wording on the FBI's findings in the Hillary Email scandal from she was "grossly negligent" to she was "extremely careless". Grossly negligent sounds indictable. Extremely careless doesn't.

The (usually Trump-hating) Wall Street Journal has called for Mueller to step down. They say Mueller has too many conflicts. Which is something I wrote about in here months ago

“While there is no evidence so far of Trump-Russia collusion, House investigators have turned up enough material to suggest that anti-Trump motives may have driven Mr. Comey’s FBI investigation”

“The latest news supports our view that Mr. Mueller is too conflicted to investigate ... and should step down in favor of someone more credible.”

Another thing is that this guy was dismissed some time back. But this fact was kept secret by Mueller and FBI. The timing suggests Mueller wanted to hide it from Congress until after the Flynn deal

From Flynn's perspective, I get it that he grew tired, wanted to protect his son and was running out of money, but had his matter gone to trial, his attorneys could have driven an M1 Abrams through the door Mueller opened with all these conflicts.

Mueller hid it or simply made the decision to remove him and moved on with the investigation like every other part of the investigation. Mueller hasn't been one for PC's and fanfare on anything. NOW you expect Mueller to suddenly announce that the IG brought him information that one of his investigators direct messaged a co-worker about Trump during a debate and he promptly let him go? The conspiracy crowd is out in full force today.

Mueller's team has 16 prosecutors (seems like a lot).
9 of them gave money to either or both of Obama and HRC.

Here is the Boston Herald on the conflicts created by the Trump-haters on the Mueller team.

"...... The FBI must release everything going back to the Clinton email investigation. Strzok was instrumental in her jaw-dropping exoneration, including watering down Comey’s language describing Clinton’s actions from “grossly negligent,” which is a crime, to “extremely careless,” which isn’t. The public has a right to know if that probe was also tainted. After all, any other American who was reckless with classified emails, lied about it, housed rogue servers, destroyed evidence, and “lost” a laptop would be behind bars.

Then, there’s the question of Stzrok’s role in the discredited dossier from a scurrilous foreign spy, Christopher Steele, for tabloid trash that was later used to launch a major DOJ investigation into the Trump campaign.

The American people want the truth. They understand the integrity of our justice system is at stake and confidence in the beleaguered FBI must be restored.

Voters also have an interest in knowing who else on Mueller’s legal team is biased. Not a stretch, as we already know many key players have donated heavily to Democrat politicians, including Clinton. Here’s just a few:

--James Quarles donated $33,000 over the years to the Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, Obama and Clinton campaigns, according to CNN.

--Jeannie Rhee has given more than $16,000 to Democrats since 2008. She also maxed out donations both in 2015 and 2016 to Clinton’s presidential campaign. Rhee also represented Clinton in a legal case involving access to her private emails and defended the Clinton Foundation in a former racketeering suit.

--Andrew Weissman gave $2,300 to former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, and $2,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2006, according to CNN.

    Voters can do the math."

    LOL! Ya think, WSJ?

This investigation stinks to high heaven. He needs to step down and bring someone else in.

One more thing about this is that Mueller never actually released this information. It came out via an IG report.

And, as we are told at least, there are many more Trump-hating texts still to be revealed from the Mueller team

That's because Mueller was hiding it, right? Of course, by all reports Mueller released the agent back to the FBI as soon as he learned of it. Clearly something nefarious was occurring though...keep digging.

The House Intelligence Committee has begun writing a resolution holding top FBI officials in contempt of Congress after the agency missed a Monday deadline to turn over key evidence the committee has been seeking for months.

Nunes has accused the FBI and Department of Justice of a “months-long pattern … of stonewalling and obstructing this committee's oversight work.”

Those accusations boiled over during the weekend, after stories were leaked to the New York Times and Washington Post saying that FBI agent Peter Strzok, a key investigator in the Trump-Russian probe, was removed from the Russia probe after exchanging text messages critical of Trump to another FBI agent he was involved with romantically. Republicans had been seeking information about why he was removed, but were never told anything by FBI or Justice Department directly.

What looks like is happening here is that the Mueller Team and the FBI are happy to leak certain details to the WAPO/NYT but will not answer the House.

I've said this before, but part of this at least in on Sessions.

He should have cleaned house of the partisans immediately upon taking office. He should have been ready to hit the ground running. He should have had a ready list of new assistants. But he wasnt and he didnt. I think he is somewhat idealistic as, as a result, he believed in and trusted the idea of the professionalism of the Obama holdovers. Huge mistake. If anything is clear today that was not clear 6-9 months ago, it is that these people cannot be trusted. They do not put the office or the law or the Constitution above their own partisanship.

And then, of course on top of all that, we have Sessions' poorly thought through recusal.

I remember Yates' Congressional testimony when she said the reason she issued that order was because the travel ban was clearly unconstitutional. The reply to her came quickly, "Who decided you were in charge of what is Constitutional?" The look on her face said it all.

Fast forward to today, and her instincts were shown to not just be wrong but spectacularly wrong.

    Another piece of work here

I wonder if he will address, in his "very lucrative" book deal, why he covered for the Clinton's for so long?

As the details of the Trump-haters working for Mueller are released, many of the things that did not make any sense at the time are coming into focus.

For example, it never made any sense for the FBI to allow Cheryl Mills to invoke attorney-client privilege as Hillary's "attorney" since Mills was not working as her attorney. Not only that, but Mills herself was a material witness. So why do it? Clearly, there was only one reason and that reason was to shield her communications with HRC as privileged.

No one on the level would have allowed this.

    The fix was in.

    The swamp is deep.

Unfortunately we are supposed to not be surprised at all and move along. No shocker a Lib wife is accepting of her husband's adultery and running cover in the name of protecting the Queen and torpedoing DT.

TDS is a hell of a disease. :smile1:

At least 5 on Mueller's team have now been exposed as Trump-haters -- Peter Strzok, Andrew Weissmann, Michael Dreeben, Jeannie Rhee and Aaron Zebley

Jeannie Rhee who worked at Mueller's DC firm 'Wilmer Hale'
By coincidence, she also defended the Clinton Foundation
She also donated the maximum donation allowed by US law to the Hillary Campaign, and has given heavily to Dems generally over the years
She also worked as the attorney for national security hack Ben Rhodes who did many shady things, among them the "unmasking" of Trump Campaign advisers

It's interesting that Mueller allowed Strzok's "mistress" Lisa Page to remain on his team for nearly 2 months after Strzok was jettisoned

The New FBI guy Chris Wray testifies this week
    This should be interesting
He has got to be feeling pressure to clean up his own house
People like Strzok or McCabe are in a different category than Comey who was a political hire. These guys are civil servants, so Trump cannot simply fire them as he did with Comey. It is up to Wray to rid the Hoover Bldg of the political hacks

    Bless her heart

SJ-L just asked the FBI head if removing two of the Trump-haters from Mueller's team would "sabotage" Mueller's investigation

Another partisan under the Justice umbrella has been "re-assigned"

Bruce Ohr held two titles at DOJ:
-- Associate Deputy AG -- which had him just 4 doors down from Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein (who gave us Mueller)
-- Director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF)

Ohr will retain the latter title but has been stripped of his higher post and ousted from his office on the fourth floor of “Main Justice"

The House Committee run by Devin Nunes uncovered that Ohr met with Christopher Steele (the 'dossier' guy). Ohr was also caught meeting, shortly after the election, with the founder of Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson.

There are going to be more of these type of people being outed as we move forward. These people were attempting to subvert democracy via a soft coup. Hopefully, some will face charges.
