I am not sure which is more shocking, that the actual answer was given before the obligatory "quit surfing porn" answer, or that there are still people who don't know the answer to this question.

    CCleaner

Wipes a lot of Internet stuff that doesn't normally get cleaned. Damned good registry cleaner too. Free.

Get the Slim version of CCleaner from here...the standard version includes a Yahoo toolbar. (The guy's gotta pay the bills somehow, I guess.)

Another freeware that's pretty good is one called EasyCleaner.

You can use it to clear history, remove files from startup, all sorts of stuff.

It will also clean out outdated crap from your registry (really does a good job with this, I haven't had it remove anything it shouldn't, and I've been using it for over a year and a half).

BTW, most browsers have a seting for history, you can keep stuff for a session, a day, a week, whatever. I have mine set up to clear history after every session.

    And quit surfing porn.
