Countdown Thread!

I registered just to get this thread going - the guys who contributed to last year's version of this thread did a fantastic job. Hopefully it'll be great again this year, too. Here's my (admittedly weak) contribution:

Wow...is it that time already?

 

Not to bust your bubble (I was gonna start tomorrow), but today is 101. Saturday has to be divisible by 7. Saturday is 98, therefore, TOMORROW is 100.

 

100 days 22 hours 06 minutes 56 sec

 

I know it is counter-intuitive for some people, but Thursday is correct for 100. If you don't believe that look at a calendar. On the Friday before the first game, the countdown must be 1. Just start counting the days backwards and you will get to 100 on Thursday....really.

 

100 days 21 hours 50 minutes 44 sec

 

Good argument, League. If you go to 99 tomorrow, we'll get to the Friday before the game and the countdown will be zero.

Of course, at that point, there will be a game tomorrow, so who the hell cares?

BUT, 101...

OK let's try this again.

 

That's the first time I've noticed Droopy Horns being shown in the lights on the scoreboard (KSU pic).

No offense, but the objective of the countdown thread is to post Longhorn football pics with the jersey number or a combination of jersey numbers of the amount of days until kickoff. Today is 98 days until kickoff.
