Who is that No.6 catching all those passes? By the looks of things, he must be one helluva football player. I wonder if he can block, too?
Great thread, and great job by 4th&5. Really enjoy the historical pictures of the great plays and great players from the sixties you are using. Appreciate the reasearch and the time you are spending doing this.
accuratehorn, Thanks. It helps me get through the dead period every summer and the utter depression I experienced after the Horns lost to LSU. We drove from Austin to Baton Rouge (a prearranged visit) on Wednesday 6/24 (the day of the 3rd game) to visit my sister and her family. We arrived at exactly 6:00 pm, just in time to watch the game with a house full of Tiger fans. They were all cool and gracious winners. Out of respect to my sister, my "F bombs" were whispered under my breath. We went to the LSU campus the next day to see Mike the Tiger's new digs. I wore a longhorn shirt just like I do, win or lose the day after any game. I got nothing but good comments about the Horns and Augie and a few said "way to wear your colors win or lose." Same when we went to New Orleans. Thanks to trueut2003 for starting the thread.
It bears repeating that I love this thread! Some of you boys are very clever. Very clever, indeed. And the best thing about it is that the numbers continue to get smaller!
