Leaving the game last night and listening to ESPN Radio, I was a little disappointed they didnt pipe in his version. His excitement in the rose Bowl will be hard to top though....
How I wish there wasn't such a LONG delay between Craig's broadcast and the television broadcast. Last night Craig was a "play" ahead - we stopped trying to listen to him , it became too disjointed. I hate that because I would much rather listen to him.
Earlier this year, I looked into these gizmos that delay the radio signal to synch it up with the tv picture. The trouble is they only provide an 8 second delay, which is only about half the delay needed to synch up with the very slow feed of HDTV. When somebody comes up with a workable design, I'll definitely buy one. Adios, Dave Lapham, Musburger, et al.
