This one hurts more than that. In that game..we rough the punter and we don't get the chance to drive for the winning TD. This one -- we catch that ball and the game is over. One play completely changes the results of the game. i left that CU game in a daze because of that penalty. We had made our way back only to let it fall through like that. But that is assuming we drive the field and score -- which I'm sure we would've. Last night..wow. I feel bad for the kid. He's a major part of the reason why we were 8-0 to begin with and he's a stud that will make a lot of plays for us. But that is what he's going to have to deal with for a while. He's hoping tech loses two games more than anybody. Just had himself a Buckner moment....
I've been following Horn football since '61 and I rank this loss as the most gut-wrenching, heart breaking loss ever! That Includes the 60 pointers to OU. I think it was because the team overcame so much and had victory within their grasp, only to let it slip away.
