Well, I’ve never coached baseball at any level, and I quit playing that sport before high school. (I have watched a lot of it in person and on tv…). But, IMHO yes. Stick with Nixon unless he falters. If not, then go with Cole. Must win here. Those are our two best (along with Witt who had a poor outing).

To follow up, it would be great if Nixon would close it out here. That way, Cole will be good to go at least several innings tomorrow. I would think Stevens starts. Go-to Relievers would be: Cole and Gordon. Kubichek, and a half dozen others are available, but they’re usually a drop off from the level of Cole and Gordon.
