Virginia starts things off by sending Arkansas to the loser's bracket.

Miami up 2-0 over Florida, but Florida is threatening.

 

Florida up big in the eighth.

 

Miami has shot themselves in every way possible.

 

Florida and Vanderbilt look very solid. Florida may be the hottest team in the country. They should take their division.

LSU and Vanderbilt will probably duke it out in the other division. Going to be tough for TCU, their closer Ferrell has really been shaky, since the end of the regular season.

 

TCU having a big day.

 

TCU beats the **** outta lsu! Go Toads!

LSU with the meltdown, couldn't happen to a better bunch. TCU is living a charmed life at the right time.

If TCU wins it all, it'll be rough that we lost the "4th game of a 3 game series" on an E5 after ample blown ball/strike calls.​

Vandy gets 3 in the ninth to beat Fullerton 4-3, in the resumption of their delayed game from yesterday.

They get two doubles and a walk off two run homer to win.

 

Vandy takes it because, as the announcers made sure we knew, they are from the "brutal SEC".

 

Without the delay Fullerton rolls.

 

Miami scores in the bottom of the ninth to break a 3-3 tie game. Another walk off 4-3 victory and Arkansas heads for the hills.

 

I guess part of the brutality of the SEC is being the first team eliminated

 

Virginia hangs on for a 1-0 win. The key play being a smoked line drive back to the Virginia pitcher, with runners on the corners and no outs, in the eighth.

The Cav closer had his glove knocked off his hand, but the ball then fell in front of him and he finally got a force at second. It looked like a sure rbi single up the middle, to tie the game.



He then got out of the inning and got the save, in the ninth.

 

To paraphrase Robert Frost, something there is (Virginia) that doesn't like the SEC. They've sent two SEC teams to the loser bracket, one of which has been eliminated. Oh, my!

 

CSF gets today's action rolling taking a 3-0 lead over LSU in the first inning.

 

CSF likely playing mad.

 

LSU wins 5-3 over Fullerton, Fullerton goes back to California.

 

Vanderbilt leads TCU 1-0, in the 7th.

Vandy's first hit is a solo homer.

 

Vanderbilt wins 1-0.

TCU now faces LSU in an elimination game, the winner of that game must beat Vandy twice, to advance.

 

wow, that rain delay might have affected the whole tourney since Fullerton had Vandy on the ropes. Welp, that's baseball.

 

Was hoping TCU would take Vandy. They had the men on base multiple times and couldn't get anyone in. I hope they get another shot and maybe the NC. If an SEC team wins out, aggy will put another NC on their wall.

 

Florida leads Miami 7-0, in the sixth, in an elimination game tonight.

 

Florida wins 10-2, to send Miami packing. Florida must now beat Virginia twice to advance.

LSU vs TCU winner to play Vandy.

 

Halfway through their elimination game, TCU and LSU are tied 3-3.

 

TCU takes a 6-3 lead, after five played.

 

I can’t root for a toad.

 

You can't get excited watching a horny toad pounding a tiger, it's downright National Geographic.

If it was Arkansas, could you "root" for a hog.

It beats watching a Tiger shoot 80 in the U.S. Open.
