If this past year has anything, he will burn his shirt to sit on the bench.

he will play plenty as a freshman.

 

Just hope he doesn't get stuck in hitch screens for 2 & 3 yd. gains! Sound familiar?

 

I agree with the Ramonce Taylor caparisons. He looks dangerous in the open field, would like to see him on some special teams as well.

 

give him the ball and watch him ram it to the landthieves and aggy.

 

He seems a bit more shifty then Ramonce. So hopefully he'll be able to break more tackles. RT had that killer speed when he got in the open field, but he couldn't juke people to get into the open field like jamaal. Maybe he could be the next Jamaal. Though he would need to gain some weight.

Good to see you are posting on this site. It will take me a while to determine who is a Texas Longghorn and who isn't.

 

I have a feeling about this kid...that he may be the special teams' game breaker we have lacked for years.

 

if you get Hales into some space he'll make things happen, however if the defense is able to jam him up and get a lot of players to the ball Hales will leave them all behind in a pile. either way he scores.
