    My point is, Iraqis in Iraq, not Americans in the United States, will have the final say as to whether or not life improved after the fall of Saddam. I don't have many favorite Bush quotes, but one that sticks in my mind is, "History has a long march to it." Perhaps someday things will calm down enough for Iraqis to write books, make films, teach college courses about what life was like under US occupation.
