This would not be the first HC who thought he had an understanding with RP. Here's hoping the kid straightens himself out and stays that way.
For the sake of Ryan and LSU, I hope that he is just going through a tough spell after the passing of his father, and hopefully he makes it through okay in the end. May our prayers be with him and his family.
Man, that guy is one major case of drama. This needs to be a QUIET offseason for us. The only news I want to hear is more 4* and 5* guys jumping on-board for the 2009 class.
people need to stop considering perilloux in "misses" for mack brown. if he is a miss...he is the BEST one we ever had!
Eh...I'm not going to talk **** about a kid if his dad just died. If he wants to go home and be with his family right now..or if he just needs some time to straighten some **** out in his head -- he needs to do that. Football is just a game...
Wow, this kid is a mess... sorry his father passed away and all but he has had numerous issues with the coaches since he first set foot on that campus - with plenty of slack cut to him. This time I bet he is gone, for good.
Just to be clear, this story is based ENTIRELY on rumors. Some TV station reported the rumors, but there is not any word from LSU or RP that any of this is true.
poor kid...not much of a chance with a family like that...and then he'll probably end up translating those same values to his own children...nasty cycle
It is a fact that at 5:15 this morning, LSU started a week of grueling workouts that are designed to separate the men from the boys. Not shocked that Perrilloux would choose today to quit.
If he's got a family situation I feel for the guy, but you still have to maintain some integrity and poise in the face of tragedy. Hope his family is ok but its not like this is an isolated incident.
Went to LSU site and they were talking about when he would return as the starting QB I laughed Are we assuming he stays in the clear between now and then?
